How did you start racing?
I started riding in 2005 and picked it up pretty quickly. The guys that I rode with were pretty impressed with my riding and jumping abilities and thought that I should give racing a try. I raced my first race at the end of last year and became addicted! I was the only girl in a gate full of boys and I loved showing the guys of this sport that a girl can ride just as hard as them!

Tell us a little about this season:
I couldn't wait for this season to begin! I trained hard all winter by doing a lot of cardio and tried to ride every chance I could get even when it was freezing outside and there was snow on the tracks! I ran the Suzuki Series with some incredibly fast riders. I had a lot of mechanical problems most of the season and a torn ligament in my thumb, but I had so much fun! It was such a great feeling to be on the starting gate with so many extremely talented and fast girls. I ended up finishing in 3rd place for that series. Now, I plan to run some local races and keep training for next year.

What motivates you on the track?
I've always been a pretty competitive person, so I would have to say the competition and the thrill of doing things I never thought I could do motivates me.

What do you do to train?
I ride every chance I can get and I do some sort of cardio 4 times per week. I also eat very healthy.

What are your favorite places to ride?
Breezewood Proving Grounds in south central Pennsylvania is my very favorite place to ride! The tracks are so sweet and the owners rock! It's a great place to learn how to ride and jump.

Who is your best competition?
Since I am relatively new to ATV riding and racing, I'd have to say everyone I've raced so far was good competition for me. I love riding with Heather Gaul, though. She is fun to hang out with at the races and is a fast, strong, and experieced racer who I can learn a lot from.

What is your most embarrassing racing moment?
Well, thankfully, I haven't had too many so far! But, one time this year, I didn't realize I got the checkered flag and kept on riding until I got about halfway around the track again. I was pretty embarrassed!

What is your ultimate goal for the season or for your career?
I'd like to keep getting faster and keep encouragaing more girls to try racing. It's such a thrilling sport and so many girls are missing out on a great time! I'd also like to start a motocross camp someday for younger girls who want to get involved in the the sport.

What would you tell a female that is just getting started in the sport?
Have fun with it, keep trying, and don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something.

Any final comments or sponsors you would like to thank?
I have some awesome sponsors this year that have helped me out so much. They are the best in the business and I appreciate all they have done for me: HB ATV, East Coast ATV, Breezewood Proving Grounds, Offroad Girls, GenerationX, Laker Custom, HMF, Kenda, Team, Girlyz Clothing Co., Elka, ASV, and Blingstar.
